I am an International Advisor for the St. Gallen Symposium and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation.
The St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for intergenerational debates on economic, political, and social developments. The symposium takes place annually at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and will celebrate its 50th anniversary under the theme “Freedom Revisited” from 7–8 May 2020.
The student-run initiative brings together key decision makers, thought leaders, and brilliant young minds to address current challenges and opportunities on transforming ideas in to action. They have fostered healthy debates and created an outstanding community for exchange since 1969 to provide fresh insights into important topics of our time.
The mission of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation (LLIMF) of Chinese star pianist Lang Lang is to bring music education to poor children and underprivileged schools around the world, and to educate, inspire and motivate the next generation of music lovers.
We believe that all children should have access to a music education, regardless of their background.
Our unique programs encourage music performance at all levels as a means of social and emotional development for today’s youth.
By igniting a child’s passion for music, we are helping children worldwide aim for a better future.
